The Long flowing relaxing strokes of this technique induce a sense of calm and well being while releasing tension in tight stiff sore muscles. The increased circulation and lymph flow oxygenates the cells of the body and assists in lymphatic drainage aiding in detoxifying and rejuvenating the cells – a bit like a spring clean. This type of massage is also called classic massage
Aromatherapy Massage :
Essential oils from plants are super rich in such things as antioxidants and astringents and carmative properties. The oils are chosen to elicit a mood change or to impart feelings of calm or spiritual harmony . For example if you are stressed and need to achieve a state of calm – then lavender would be a good choice as this has calming properties and is used as an aid to sleep by adding a few drops to bath water in adults and babies before bedtime. But the correct Lavender must be used. Some have stimulating properties.
